We are a husband and wife team and we've been in the food industry in one form another for over 4 decades! (Yowza!)

We have lived on the East Coast in NYC and the West Coast in Portland, OR and almost everywhere in between! All if it helped inform our vision of the kind of food we want to share and the kind of business we want to run.

So with just an idea and a lot of elbow grease and dedication, we opened our first catering business in 2014 and have been cookin' along ever since.  We've grown from a team of 2 who love great food to a team of nearly 20 who loves to create great food! Good food and good people go hand in hand.

When COVID shut the world down, our business was no exception. But we weren't going to let that deter us: with the help of so many generous donors we raised enough funds through our Righteous Kitchen Feed the Frontline campaign to not only stay open and keep people employed, but we were able to provide over 7,000 FREE meals to health care workers and care givers throughout Chicago and suburbs!

We perfected the ready-to-heat meals concept during our Feed the Frontline campaign and realized people want the convenience of ready-made meals everyday. So...

In 2021 we wrote grant applications, submitted expansion plans, sweet talked our way around COVID induced supply-chain issues, and built out a brand new 2,500 square foot commercial kitchen with a retail store attached for grab & go ready-made meals.

We opened new doors (literally and figuratively) in October 2022 and have been providing excellent food and friendly and convenient service ever since.

In March 2026 we opened a second Righteous Kitchen in the form of a stall at the Chicago French Market at Ogilvie Transportation Center in the heart of Chicago's Loop.

We have no plans to slow down. We are excited to see what the future brings and are looking forward to feeding YOU, your family, neighbors, coworkers, and friends for a long time.
